Programs for Adults

The KnitWits Group meets from 6-8 on Tuesdays. Are you looking for inspiration or working on a current project & having problems? We can provide ideas, help, or just some friendly conversation.  All ages and levels of experience are welcome! If you are a complete beginner, we have yarn and needles and can provide instruction & patterns to get you started.

What’s Cooking? Group meets at 5:30 on the third Tuesday of the month. Do you like to cook and/or eat? Join us for a fun evening sampling recipes. Search out and test old favorites or try something new…all based on a monthly “theme”. On the third Tuesday of each month, bring your dish to the library for a potluck social – & don’t forget the recipe!

Conversations With Coffee is just that – an informal social hour with friends & coffee! Library staff provides the coffee and some conversation starters on a certain topic. Participants bring memories and stories to share, and perhaps a treat if they wish. This program occurs once a month, usually on the second Friday at 10:30 AM (coffee break time).

Crafting Fun  is a fun and relaxing series of programs that meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 4:00 PM. Each month we try a new craft or project; stop by the library or check Facebook to find out what the current project will be.  No experience is necessary; all supplies are provided and we welcome everyone!

Readers Anonymous is our book discussion group that meets on the last Tuesday of the month at 2 PM. Ask us what the monthly selection is and we will get you a copy. Feel free to come to the discussion whether you love the book, hate it, or haven’t quite finished!

Bunco Bunch meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 2 PM. Challenge your brain while you have fun socializing with friends…all while playing this fun & easy dice game! No gambling is involved & no money changes hands. All are welcome; no experience or particular skill is required to participate.
