A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in the Friends’ Chili Cook-Off! We had a great turnout to taste all the delicious varieties of chili our amazing teams provided. Our bar/cookie chefs provided a terrific selection of “palate cleansers”, and the donations by businesses and individuals of silent auction items kept people checking the bidding.
Thank you to the CV Legion for donating the use of their great facility for this event, and to the prizewinning teams – the Legion Guys, the Mother Cluckers, and Humm’s Hunter Chili – for donating their prize money back to the Friends.
It was a very successful event; the money raised will be used to upgrade technology, and provide more programs and materials for everyone to enjoy. You will never know how much we appreciate each & every one of you!
